Chockie native Reba McEntire announced that her new TV show, “Malibu Country,” also will debut her newest music.
“We hope a lot,” she answered when asked by Entertainment Weekly about how often the show will feature music by McEntire, “because that’s what the fans are really asking for. They’re really excited about me playing a country singer...I do write a lot of the songs in the show...We’ve already got two songs in the pilot and the first episode, so we’re ready to go with the music.”
She also hinted that Blake Shelton and Kelly Clarkson may make guest appearances on the new sitcom, too.
The show debuts Nov. 2 on the ABC network.
