As the election grows closer, the political rhetoric can be increasingly hard to swallow.
So how about some food with your politics?
A new nationwide survey of 2,094 people reveals which presidential candidate Americans would most like to have a hamburger with. The survey was recently conducted by Harris Interactive on behalf of Smashburger.
The survey found the following:
- Nearly 3 in 5, or 59 percent, of U.S. adults would most like to eat a hamburger with President Barack Obama.
- Two in five, or 41 percent, want to grab a burger with Governor Mitt Romney.
- The survey also found that Bill Clinton is the former U.S. president Americans would most want to have a hamburger with at 22 percent.
- Other past presidents whom Americans want to eat a burger with include Abraham Lincoln, 15 percent; John F. Kennedy and Ronald Reagan, 14 percent; Thomas Jefferson, George Washington and Theodore Roosevelt, 5 percent; George W. Bush and Jimmy Carter, 4 percent.
So who would you like to grab a burger with?
