Westbound traffic on Turner Turnpike being rerouted at Wellston due to bridge construction

Today's OU-Notre Dame game combined with road construction has contributed to a significant traffic backup along a stretch of the Turner Turnpike, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol said Saturday.
The westbound lane at Exit 158 near Wellston are shut down due to bridge construction, according to the OHP.
Traffic congestion is also being contributed to fans traveling to the game tonight in Norman. Lanes will be opening and closing as traffic flow allows, OHP said, and traffic is being rerouted to Oklahoma Highway 66.
