A Tulsa man was arrested Saturday on allegations he raped another man in an abandoned home.

Cedric Leroy Smith, 47, was booked into the Tulsa Jail on complaints of first-degree rape after a former felony conviction and possession of marijuana after a former felony conviction, jail records show.

The victim told police Smith approached him outside the John 3:16 Mission, 506 North Cheyenne Ave., Tuesday and asked the man if he wanted to smoke marijuana with him, according to an arrest report.

Smith and the man then went to an abandoned home in the 1800 block of East Virgin Street. Smith then allegedly attacked and raped the man before heading to another room in the house, the report said.

The victim fled the home, police said.

Smith was taken into custody about 2:30 p.m. at the Tulsa Day Center for the Homeless, 415 W. Archer St. after the man notified police Smith was there, the report said.

Smith was also found to be in possession of marijuana at the time of his arrest, said the report.

His bail has been set at 102,500.
