Woman dies after being struck by vehicle on Yale Avenue

A pedestrian was killed Saturday after being hit by a vehicle while crossing Yale Avenue.
The accident happened about 8 p.m. when a 38-year-old woman was struck by the vehicle in the 3300 block of Yale Avenue, Sgt. Tim Lewandowski said.
EMSA transported the woman to St. John Hospital where she was pronounced dead a short time later, Lewandowski said.
The driver is not expected to face charges, he said.
