FIRST QUARTER

TCU 14 - 14

Key play: On Wes Lunt's first throw since getting injured on Sept. 15, his pass to Josh Stewart was slightly off the mark and tipped for an interception that was returned for an 11-yard touchdown.

Key stat: 3. The Cowboys picked up three first downs, all on their final drive of the quarter. The result was a 22-yard field goal from Quinn Sharp.

Number to know: 2. OSU turned the ball over twice in the opening period and on back-to-back plays. After the interception return, Justin Gilbert fumbled the kickoff return.

SECOND QUARTER

Key play: Lunt hit Stewart on a 38-yard strike late in the quarter to advance to the TCU 30-yard line. Two plays later, a would-be halfback pass touchdown from Joseph Randle to Blake Jackson was negated on a holding penalty, and OSU settled for another field goal.

Key stat: 3. Neither team had much success on third downs in the first half. They combined to convert on three out of 17.

Number to know: 1. The Cowboy defense held TCU to 1 rushing yard on five carries in the second quarter.

THIRD QUARTER

Key play: Jackson's first catch since early in the game was a big one. He held off tacklers and rumbled for another 15 yards after the reception for a gain of 46, setting up Lunt's 20-yard touchdown throw to Charlie Moore for the 23-14 advantage.

Key stat: 10. Entering the game having made 10 straight field goals, TCU's Jaden Oberkrom missed back-to-back attempts, including one from 31 yards in the third quarter.

Number to know: 135. Since giving up 121 yards in the first quarter, OSU's defense held the Horned Frogs to 135 yards over the next two quarters.

FOURTH QUARTER

Key play: With TCU in the red zone and trailing 26-14, quarterback Treyone Boykin was sacked by Nigel Nicholas, who forced a fumble and several seconds later got the recovery and returned it for 22 yards.

Key stat: 33. Going into Saturday's game, TCU led the nation with 33 straight games having scored at least 20 points, and the Cowboys were second with 32. With the Horned Frogs being held to 14 points, OSU now owns the streak.

Number to know: 4. In the last 12 quarters, OSU's defense has allowed only four offensive touchdowns.
