A Claremore woman was killed and four other people were injured in a two-vehicle wreck Tuesday in Rogers County, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported.
Joel Reimer, 18, of Claremore was driving west on County Road EW 44 about 3:20 p.m. when he failed to yield at a stop sign at Oklahoma 66 and his 2005 Dodge pickup collided with a 2012 Ford Focus driven by 30-year-old Ashley Budde, also of Claremore, the OHP reported.
Robin Webb, 51, a passenger in Budde’s car, had internal injuries and was flown to St. John Medical Center in Tulsa, where she died, troopers said.
Reimer was treated for minor injuries at St. John Owasso and released, and Budde was treated at St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa and released, troopers said.
Budde had two child passengers — 1-year-old Macy Howard and 4-year-old Russell Howard — who also were taken to St. Francis, the OHP said.
Macy was treated for minor injures and released, and Russell was admitted with internal injuries, the OHP reported.
Reimer was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash, but all four occupants in the other vehicle were wearing restraints, troopers said.
