Tulsa man wanted in department store thefts arrested

Tulsa police on Monday apprehended a “Most Wanted” fugitive and convicted felon charged with five counts of larceny from a department store over a two-week period.
Prosecutors allege Ramon Terrell McBee, 41, stole 24 coats, six jackets and four vests from the Macy’s at Tulsa Promenade mall between Sept. 24 and Oct. 3, Tulsa County District Court filings show.
He was named the Tulsa Police Department’s “Most Wanted” fugitive on Oct. 22.
McBee is being held on 13 complaints of larceny of merchandise from a retailer, two complaints of trespassing to commit theft and a single complaint of assault and battery, jail records show.
His bond is set at $137,500.
Since 1989 McBee has pleaded guilty to numerous charges, including larceny from a retailer, larceny from a person, drug possession and possession of a stolen vehicle, Tulsa County District Court records show. He’s served portions of 10 prison sentences with actual time served ranging from one to five years in each case.
