The state Department of Agriculture reported the following closing prices Tuesday:

U.S. No 1 HARD RED WINTER WHEAT: .05 to .07 lower. 8.07-8.64.

Davis 8.07, Shattuck 8.36, Temple 8.37, Banner, El Reno, Geary, Lawton, Manchester, Okarche, Okeene, Watonga 8.38, Frederick 8.39, Cherokee, Medford, Ponca City 8.40, Alva, Buffalo, Perry, Stillwater 8.41, Clinton 8.45, Hooker 8.47, Keyes 8.53, Hobart, Weatherford 8.58, Eldorado 8.64, Gulf 9.53.

MILO: Steady to .02 lower. 11.82-12.85.

SOYBEANS: .28 to .34 lower. 14.30-14.63.

COTTON: Grade 41, Leaf 4, Staple 34 Cotton in southwestern Oklahoma averaged 66.75); cents per pound.

EGGS: Large 1.32; medium 1.24; small 1.01.

Oklahoma livestock

The state Department of Agriculture reported the following prices Tuesday at the Oklahoma City Stockyards:

Receipts: 8,511; week ago: 9,324; year ago: 9,905.

Compared to last week: Feeder steers and heifers steady to 2 lower. Demand moderate to good for feeder cattle. This demand has diminished some as live cattle futures and boxed beef prices both on the decline late last week. Steer calves steady. Heifer calves steady to 3 lower. Demand for calves moderate to good. Supply includes several un-weaned calves. Rain totals for the year in Central Oklahoma are still running about 4 inches below the average.
