In response to the negative attacks against 2nd District congressional candidate Rob Wallace, here are a few facts to consider:
Republican candidate Markwayne Mullin would rather mislead the public than discuss issues in front of them.
Wallace was on the federal payroll as an assistant U.S. attorney in the Eastern District, not a politician. He prosecuted those who would do harm to our families - putting the worst of the worst behind bars.
Wallace invested in one business that failed, but he was an investor, not a manager or owner. He did close his own successful law practice because he wanted to work as a district attorney. He signed papers of incorporation for other businesses, but he did that in the role of an attorney and legal counselor, not as someone directly involved in the day-to-day operations of the business.
While Wallace has been putting dangerous criminals behind bars, Mullin was hiring convicted felons to do plumbing in your home. Like Mullin, Wallace believes in giving people a second chance in life, but there is clear difference. Wallace would never send potentially dangerous criminals into your home.
Wallace will support legislation from both sides of the aisle as long as it is beneficial to the people of the 2nd District. He wants to preserve our water, improve public education, attract new business, keep the jobs here, save America's mail service and maintain the great lifestyle we enjoy here in eastern Oklahoma for generations to come.
Which do you prefer?
