Eight city of Tulsa employees were presented with checks totaling $43,514 Thursday as part of the city's gainsharing program.
The program allows city employees to bid against private contractors to provide city services and receive part of the savings should they be awarded the contract and perform their duties for less than their bid amount.
The City Hall maintenance and operations team last year won the contract to maintain One Technology Center.
In fiscal year 2012, which ended June 30, the team beat its bid by nearly $250,000.
In February, the employees received a total of $27,044 for the first six months of fiscal year 2012.
The checks they received Thursday were for the second half of the fiscal year, which ended June 30.
