Notes: There is a reason OU has scrimmaged Oklahoma Christian 10 of the past 12 years - Sooners coach Sherri Coale is an Eagles alum. So is Coale's assistant, Jan Ross. Coale played for OC coach Stephanie Findley for two seasons. Findley has gone on to win 512 games in 27 years at the Oklahoma City school. Aside from Coale's history, the main thing about tonight's exhibition is the Sooners improving, plus bringing their newcomers along to join the five returning starters. Hand is OU's old reliable. She joins Ellenberg and Hook to form one of the best backcourts in Coale's 17 years.
