Tulsa Community College will host its Day of Vision for high school students and their parents Saturday.
Day of Vision offers a variety of workshops on funding and getting ready for college.
The free event is from 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at TCC's West Campus, 7505 W. 41st St.
The Day of Vision started as a way to serve and diversify TCC's student body by reaching out to minority and underserved students in the area.
Last year, more than 950 people attended.
Students can attend two sessions from a list of 15 workshops covering topics such as scholarship and essay writing, college readiness, and specific areas of study.
Parents can attend sessions on funding and financial aid, Tulsa Achieves, disability services and preparing their children for college.
Participants can register Saturday morning in person or before the event by phone or online.
Lunch and door prizes also will be available.
