The American people have a right to know before Tuesday's election what the president and his administration knew and when they knew it regarding the terrorist attacks on the U.S. embassy in Benghazi, Libya, that resulted in the deaths of a U.S. ambassador and three other Americans.

All the evidence to this date indicates that President Obama and his administration knew real time that the attack was a coordinated terrorist attack. We now know emails were flowing in real time to hundreds of people in various government agencies including the White House and the State Department informing them that a terrorist attack was occurring and who was taking responsibility for the attacks.

For more than two weeks the president and his administration put out a false narrative that the attacks were a result of a spontaneous attack prompted by some obscure video released back in July. The response from the president and his administration by all accounts appears to be an attempt to mislead and blatantly lie to the American people about what they knew, when they knew it and what they were doing to save those American lives.

President Obama and his administration need to come clean to the American people before the election in order that we can make an informed decision to whether he is fit to be commander in chief for another four years.
