A man was killed in Broken Arrow Friday night after being struck by a car whose driver fled the scene.
The police’s investigation indicates that 43-year-old Robert Wallace Pitcher was hit by a 2000 Chevrolet pickup driven by Christopher Lee Lange as Pitcher was walking east on Washington Street (91st Street) near Dogwood Place at 11:30 p.m.
Lang, 24, of Coweta, was booked Saturday on a complaint of leaving the scene of a fatality collision, jail records show.
Alcohol was not a contributing factor in the collision, police said.
Police said Lang and a male passenger in the vehicle were not injured. They both were wearing seat belts, police said.
