Two small children playing with matches were responsible for starting a house fire Saturday.
Tulsa firefighters were called to a two-story home in the 2000 block of East First Street about noon, said Tulsa Fire Department spokesperson Stan May.
An investigation revealed the fire was caused when a 3-year-old and 4-year-old accidentally set a living room couch on fire while playing with matches, May said. The home sustained $35,000 in damages.
No injures were reported, May said.
The Tulsa chapter of the American Red Cross was called to assist the family.
