Early voting continues from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. today at county election board offices in Oklahoma.

In Tulsa County, the Election Board office is at 555 N. Denver Ave.

Tulsa's early voting line currently extends out the Election Board's door to Denver Avenue.

Tulsan Cleveland Olden, 51, was the first in line, arriving at the election board at 5:30 a.m.

"I didn't want to miss out," Cleveland said.

Terry Russell, 46, of Tulsa, arrived at the Election Board just after 8 a.m.

"I knew it was going to be an important election," Russell said. "I want to get it over with and get it done."

Assistant Election Board Secretary Shelly Boggs said early voters can expect a wait no matter when they arrive at the Election Board on Monday.

"There are going to be lines," she said.

On election day Tuesday, the only place to vote is at local precincts, which will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

On Friday, 3,737 chose to vote early in advance of Tuesday's national, state and local elections. The turnout was 2,756 on Saturday.
