A Tulsa man was arrested Tuesday in the shooting of a 24-year-old outside a business Sunday.
Marcos Marino, 30, is being held on a complaint of attempted first-degree murder, jail records show.
Marino is accused of shooting Osvaldo Santos Mendez outside the Mi Ranchito Cantina, 6611 S. Peoria Ave., around 2 a.m. Sunday, according to police.
Mendez was transported to St. Francis Hospital, where he was admitted in critical condition. Mendez underwent emergency surgery for a gunshot wound to the head, Officer Jillian Roberson said.
A motive for the shooting was not immediately known, but the investigation is ongoing, Roberson said.
Marino was arrested at 1:15 a.m. Tuesday after police received a tip regarding his whereabouts.
He is being held without bond for immigration enforcement officers at the Tulsa Jail.
