I find myself embarrassed for and frustrated with people who are still so opposed to our new recycling system. They must live in a pristine world, free of garbage with which I am not familiar. I live in a world that has many millions of people, each contributing large amounts of trash.
One of the easiest ways to ease that burden for our beautiful planet Earth is to recycle some of that garbage. It has been done all over the world and finally the opportunity has come to our city of Tulsa. How pleased I am that our leaders have taken on this monumental task and made it so easy for us. I thank them for the countless and thankless hours of volunteer work it took for them to implement this new system. I hope those who continue to resist it will re-think the way they feel and quit fussing.
I love our nice, new cans and am really tired of continuing to hear from the nay-sayers. Let's just get on with it.
