A Tulsa home was destroyed by an unattended kitchen fire Tuesday night.
Firefighters arrived to find smoke showing from a home in the 1700 block of North 129th East Avenue around 6:30 p.m., said Fire Capt. Stan May.
The 1,200-square-foot house was occupied at the time of the fire, but the resident evacuated before crews arrived, May said.
Crews returned after a hot spot reignited around 9:15 p.m.
Investigators determined the cause of the fire to be an unattended kitchen fire and deemed the structure a total loss, he said.
There were no injuries.
