Receipts: 10,846; week ago: 8,511; year ago: 8,892.
Compared to last week: Feeder cattle firm to 3 higher. Demand very good for feeder cattle. Supply included an increased number of feeders. Steer and heifer calves sold 2-5 lower. Demand moderate for calves with least action on un-weaned or short weaned calves. Weather remains warm and dry and this contributing to the lighter calf demand. Quality mostly average. Feeder cattle in slightly thin to fleshy conditions. Supply included 65 percent over 600 lbs; 36 percent heifers.
