Offense: Baylor leads the nation in its offensive attack. Led by quarterback Nick Florence, the Bears are averaging a nation-best 581.5 yards per game. Florence leads the nation with 377.4 yards per game and has thrown 25 touchdown passes. Terrance Williams is averaging 167.5 receiving yards per game, which leads the nation.
Defense: The Bears are struggling on defense and rank dead last out of 120 schools. The Bears are giving up 527.3 yards per game, which is nearly 30 yards more than No. 119 Eastern Michigan. Six of Baylor's eight opponents have gained more than 500 yards, including West Virginia's 807 yards.
Special teams: Placekicker Aaron Jones is 10-of-16 on field goal attempts this season, including 7-10 inside of 40 yards and 3-of-6 beyond that distance. Baylor ranks No. 82 in kickoff return yards and 84th in punt returns. Punter Spencer Roth is averaging 43.8 yards per attempt.
Coaching: Art Briles is 29-29 in his fifth season as the Bears' head coach. He is coming off a record-breaking season in 2011, when the Bears won a school-record 10 games and finished No. 12 nationally, got their first bowl victory in 19 years and produced their first Heisman Trophy winner in Robert Griffin III.
The series: The Sooners are 20-1 all-time against the Bears, with the only loss coming in a 45-38 last-second setback at Baylor last season.
