Taste of Brookside set for Tuesday with tastings from 17 eateries

An upcoming event will showcase the best of Brookside's restaurant scene.

Taste of Brookside, sponsored by the area's business association, is set for 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday.

A wine reception and registration will start at 6 p.m. at 33forty, 3340 S. Peoria Ave., with the tasting kicking off at 7 p.m.

The event benefits Youth Services of Tulsa, and tickets are $50 per person.

There will be trolleys available to transport attendees up and down Peoria Avenue.

The event includes a contest for the participating restaurants in three categories - appetizer, entrée and dessert. Ballots will be available at the wine reception/registration.

Participating restaurants include Charleston's, 33forty, Wolfgang Puck Bistro, Keo Asian Cuisine, Doc's Wine and Food, Cafe Ole, Cosmo Cafe and Bar, R Bar, Biga, Local Table, Blue Moon Cafe and Bakery, Whole Foods Market, Hibiscus Caribbean Grill, CherryBerry, Yolotti, Old School Bagel Cafe, Sonoma Wine Bar and Bistro.
