Santa's coming to town!
He will be arriving in Tulsa this weekend at Woodland Hills Mall, then he starts making appearances Nov. 17 at Tulsa Promenade mall.
Tulsa-area families can see the big man at the Simon Kidgits Club's Santa Celebration running from 8:30 to 10 a.m. Saturday in the Food Court, the Upper Level and inside The Children's Place at Woodland Hill's Mall.
During the holiday event, the mall will host a special breakfast and seasonal craft-making activities including an activity from preschool television channel Sprout's new series "The Chica Show."
Santa will also lead little ones in a parade through the mall that ends at The Children's Place. There, families can enjoy various holiday-inspired offerings and exclusive in-store discounts. And of course, children will have the chance to see the man at the center of it all - Santa Claus - at Dillard's Court on the Lower Level for the most highly anticipated photos of the season.

Santa is scheduled to make a special appearance at Tulsa Promenade's Magical Night of Giving on Sunday, but his official arrival to the mall is at 2 p.m. Nov. 17 when Kris Kingle flies in via helicopter, courtesy of Crumpton Aviation.
Once he lands at the north entrance close to El Chico, Santa will ride around the parking lot with the Akdar Shriners and their minicars before joining in on a mall-wide Santa parade that features the Tulsa Drillers' Hornsby, Eskimo Joe's Joe and Buffy, Jenks Cheer-n-Pom, the Auntie Anne's Pretzel, Chick-fil-A and many other mascots, as well as cheerleaders, dancers and drummers.
Santa will be in town until Dec. 24 and is available for pictures at his home in Center Court 10 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. Monday through Saturday and from noon to 5:30 p.m. on Sundays. Every child who visits Santa will receive a free gift.
For more information, call 918-627-9282.
Santa visits Utica Square on Thanksgiving night, when he helps with the countdown to "Lights On" at the outdoor shopping center. That event starts at 6:30 p.m. Nov. 22.
