As a long-time reader of the Tulsa World, I was very disappointed in your lack of coverage or even mentioning of the sold-out or nearly sold-out concert Nov. 1 at the Brady Theater starring blues/rock guitarist and singer Joe Bonamassa. It is hard to explain what a breath of fresh air this man is to the music business. He is 35 years old, conducts himself as a gentleman on and off stage and has an unbelievable talent for playing the guitar. He also has exceptional singing and writing talents as well as assembling a first-rate band.

It is too bad in this day that many acts are misfits or miscreants. They spew expletives from the stage and generally try to be jerks. These are the ones who capture the attention of the media while this well-mannered, well-dressed, extremely talented man gets nothing.

How about the next time Bonamassa comes to town, you cut him a break and do an article on him? Right now, about the only place he can be heard is on public television and Youtube. He deserves a lot more attention than he's getting.
