Time to disregard the corporate-run media and think for ourselves regarding human-caused global warming. More Frankenstorms are on the way if we do not get off our fossil fuel addictions now. Scientists are too politically correct to say the oceans have warmed. This puts a lot of energy into hurricanes. Warmer oceans evaporate more water - more rain. Oceans have risen one foot over the past 100 years.
This greatly affected the giant surges that were the major cause of storm damage. The massive melt of Arctic Sea ice messed up the jet stream. A blocking pattern by the jet stream stopped Sandy from going out to the sea, causing the deadly collision with the huge Arctic storm. Stop Franken droughts, Franken fires, etc.
