Norma passed on November 6, 2012 after a brave battle with pancreatic cancer. Born May 30, 1930 in Lynn Massachusetts to Ruth (Bloom) and Norman Hull, Norma grew up on Pleasant Street in Saugus, MA with her two sisters and one brother. Her first job was at a Lynn bakery during high school. After graduating from Saugus High School in 1948, Norma worked for General Electric in Lynn, where she met her husband of 59 years, Steve. They married on September 17, 1950, and soon transferred to Green Hills in Cincinnati with G.E. and began raising a family. In 1955, Steve and Norma moved their family to Tulsa to work for American Airlines and built their home in the Tanglewood addition, where they enjoyed living for the remainder of their lives. All of the family have fond memories of the neighborhood and the bonds that were formed with the Toledo neighbors. Norma was a school secretary at Eliot Elementary School for 17 years. After retiring she enjoyed getting together with the “Lazy Daisies”, neighborhood birthday luncheons, gardening, bird feeding, cook- ing, traveling, and TV mysteries. Loving mother, grandmother, wife, and friend; Norma will be missed by all who knew her for her sweet, caring, generous, patient, and independent manner. She is preceded in death by husband Steve and brother George Hull. She is survived by sons Steve and John, daughter Donna Rhyne and husband Mitch, and beloved granddaughter Heather Rhyne, all of Tulsa, sister Betty Nagle and husband Dave of Saugus, MA, and sister Jane Nicosia of Saugus, MA, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Special thanks to her compassionate caregivers including Dr. Scott Cole and staff, and LaDonna Buyckes. Family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of your choice. Viewing will be on Thursday, Nov, 8, 2012 from 10:00 AM until 8:00 PM the family will receive friends from 6:00 PM til 8:00 PM, at Moore’s Rosewood Chapel.
