Tulsa police are seeking information after an armed man robbed a QuikTrip convenience store early Friday.

The robber entered the QuikTrip near Admiral Boulevard and Delaware Avenue around 2:30 a.m. and demanded cash from the store's clerk before fleeing on foot, said Sgt. August Terbrock.

Police describe the man as black and approximately 30 years old. He was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and was armed with a handgun, Terbrock said.

Emergency dispatchers received a call of a man matching the robber's description driving a blue 1990s-model Chevrolet pickup at the QuikTrip near Admiral Boulevard and Harvard Avenue a short time later, but police were unable to make contact with that man, Terbrock said.

Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 918-596-COPS (2677) or submit a tip online at tulsaworld.com/crimestoppers.
