Notes: Having won eight straight home games to end last season, OSU opens the 2012-13 campaign as part of a doubleheader with the men's team, which plays at 8 p.m.

The Cowgirls are coming off a 118-42 exhibition win against Central Oklahoma on Wednesday. Their point total was the highest for an exhibition since scoring 126 against the Oklahoma Flyers in 2008.

Toni Young had a game-high 26 points Wednesday to go with a game-high 11 rebounds. She will play her 100th career game Friday.

Freshman Brittney Martin made seven of nine shots from the floor against UCO and scored 16 points. She will be one of three freshmen to suit up against Cal Poly. The others are Kamri Anderson and Morgan Toben. Brittany Atkins is injured and won't play.

The teams have never met. The Mustangs were 17-15 last season, won the Big West Conference and appeared in the WNIT for a second straight year.
