Tennis: TU women's pair advances

Tulsa junior Samantha Vickers and sophomore Isaura Enrique advanced to the quarterfinals at the National Indoor Intercollegiate Championship at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in Flushing, N.Y. Vickers and Enrique defeated Gabriella DeSimone and Zoe Scandalis of USC, 8-4, in the second round of the tournament after receiving a first-round bye. The Tulsa tandem will face Stephanie Nauta and Li Xi of Virginia in Friday's quarterfinals.
