Volleyball: NEO headed to nationals

Northeastern A&M is headed to the National Junior College Athletic Association Division II National Volleyball Tournament next Thursday as the No. 16 seed and head coach Eric Iverson understands that anything can happen in a double elimination format.
"This is a situation where if you lose one match, you don't have an opportunity to win a national championship," Iverson said in a press release. "But, it's a best three-out-of-five match format and anything can happen."
The 17-7 Lady Norse open with a 1 p.m. match against No. 1 seed Cowley Community College of Arkansas City, Kan., who are 35-0.
