Mounds Turkey Shoot: Noon-5 p.m. Half-mile west of Highway 75 on 201st Street (Mounds Road) in south Tulsa County. Ammunition is furnished for 12, 16 and 20-gauge shotguns. Cost is $3 per shot. Winner of each line receives a 12-14 pound frozen turkey. Proceeds benefit Mounds Volunteer Firefighters Association and other community civic needs. House guns available for those who do not have a gun of their own. Information: Call Bill at 918-827-6566.
Oxley Nature Center: 10:30 a.m.-noon. "Earth Science Walk." Free. All ages. Join naturalists at Redbud Valley Nature Preserve to explore the rugged features of this habitat.
