A Tulsa man was arrested Wednesday on accusations that he held his former girlfriend captive for two weeks and threatened to kill her family.
Darrell Lee Kuder, 54, was booked into the Tulsa Jail on complaints that include possession of a firearm after a felony conviction, kidnapping, domestic assault and battery, threatening a violent act and assault with a deadly weapon, jail records show.
His bail is set at $160,240.
Police were called to the 1000 block of North Richmond Avenue just before 3 p.m. Wednesday to investigate a kidnapping complaint, according to a police report.
The victim told police Kuder held her against her will in his home for two weeks, the report says.
She said he threatened to kill her, her mother, her husband and a friend if she attempted to leave, the report says.
She also said Kuder tried to cut her with a knife and that he struck her numerous times with a belt buckle, police said.
The report noted that the woman had cuts and bruises on her body, and police reported finding a loaded shotgun in a bedroom.
The woman and Kuder had been in a dating relationship for several years, the report says.
