Tulsa police have confirmed an 85-year-old woman who went missing Tuesday night was found driving in south Tulsa on Wednesday morning.
Joyce Kelley left a residence in the 1700 block of West Haskell Place at 7 p.m., said Officer Jillian Roberson.
Kelley was en route to Tulsa Community College's downtown campus at 909 S. Boston Ave. to pick up her grandson, police said.
The Tulsa Police Department issued a silver alert for Kelley around midnight.
Emergency dispatchers later received a report that a woman believed to be Kelley was seen driving a Ford Focus, which matched the vehicle description given by police in a silver alert notification, near 71st Street and Lewis Avenue just before 8 a.m., Roberson said.
Officers stopped the car near 71st Street and Richmond Avenue. Roberson said Kelley was confused but in good condition and had been driving all night.
She has been reunited with her family.
