5-month-old found dead in Tulsa apartment

Tulsa homicide and child crisis detectives responded to a child death on Thursday morning.
Police were dispatched to assist EMSA at the Sandy Parks Apartments, 6301 W. 11th Place, around 6:30 a.m. Thursday. Medics found a 5-month-old boy dead inside an apartment, police said.
The child was in the home with his parents, his grandmother and two other children, ages 3 and 5, said Officer Leland Ashley.
Family members told police the boy fell from his crib, and investigators observed bruising to the child, Ashley said.
The medical examiner's office was dispatched to the scene and will determine a cause and manner of death.
