An overnight standoff Wednesday night yielded four arrests at a home where police discovered a meth lab.
Investigators with the Tulsa Fire Marshal's Office requested police assistance in apprehending Glen Gilbert, 42, who was wanted for questioning in connection with a meth-lab fire, said Tulsa Police Officer Jillian Roberson.
After receiving a tip regarding Gilbert's location, officers arrived in the 4900 block of East Marshall Street about 6:30 p.m., according to his arrest report.
Police approached the home and noticed a strong chemical odor "associated with the clandestine manufacturing of methamphetamine," the arresting officer wrote.
Gilbert initially opened the front door and then tried to close it while two men - Randy Bowers, 41, and Johnny Miller, 48 - escaped from the back of the house and were arrested, the report states.
A woman, Gina Gibson, 41, also fled from the home and was taken into custody.
A standoff with Gilbert ensued after he refused to comply with police commands. He ultimately was arrested just before 5 a.m. Thursday.
Police found several meth-lab components and an active one-pot meth lab in the house, according to the report.
Gilbert, Gibson, Bowers and Miller are all in the Tulsa Jail on varying complaints, including endeavoring to manufacture a controlled drug.
Gilbert, whose first name appears as Glenn in some records, has an outstanding warrant in Rogers County after he failed to appear in June on a felony charge of actual physical control of a vehicle while under the influence, court records show.
He pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled drug and possession of drug paraphernalia in 2009 and served 11 months of a 31-month prison sentence, according to the Department of Corrections.
Miller received a suspended sentence after he pleaded guilty to possession of methamphetamine in 2011.
Bowers pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled drug with an intent to distribute within 2,000 feet of a school or park in 2007. Sentencing on that charge was deferred until December 2013.
