Norman woman face charges in neighborhood shooting

NORMAN — A 47-year-old woman is charged with shooting another woman in the neck last month in Norman's Old Silk Stocking neighborhood.
Virginia Ruth Davis was arrested last week in Norman and charged with assault with a deadly weapon in Cleveland County District Court. She has since been released after posting $10,000 bail.
Davis is accused of shooting Lisa Nardine, 40.
Court documents reveal that Nardine was romantically linked to Davis' husband and that she had gone to the man's residence on the night of the Oct. 9 shooting to ask for money to buy “beer and cigarettes.”
