Game of the night
5A quarterfinals, No. 2 Guthrie (10-1) at No. 1 East Central (7-4): The host Cardinals are the only team in 6A or 5A that has not lost on the field this year - their four losses were forfeits due to an ineligible player. Guthrie is the defending state champion and defeated East Central, 20-14, in last year's quarterfinals.
Numbers to know
2,978: Career rushing yards by Bishop Kelley's Austin Morris, who is third on the school's all-time list. Jake Murrell (1997-2000) is the leader with 3,279 yards, and Stephen Sherwood (2007-09) is in second place with 3,036.
19: Tackles by Union safety Chase Dahlquist in a 17-14 victory over Westmoore last week.
11: Playoff games that resulted in shutouts last week. Six came in the 16 eight-man games.
2: Districts that had all four playoff qualifiers win first-round games last week - 5A-2 (Edmond Deer Creek, Guthrie, OKC McGuinness and Midwest City Carl Albert) and 3A-5 (Metro Christian, Verdigris, Berryhill and Claremore Sequoyah).
1: Team remaining in the playoffs with a losing record - Afton.
Players to watch
Andrew McNulty, Bishop Kelley: Senior linebacker set the school record for solo tackles in the final regular-season game and boosted his total to 77 with nine more in Friday's playoff win over Coweta. The previous record was held by Trevor Parks with 64 in 2006. McNulty had 15 total tackles vs. Coweta last week and is 12th on the school's all-time list with 260.
Austin Reed, Broken Arrow: Junior wideout has all three of his TD catches this season in the past two weeks. Had seven receptions for 96 yards in a first-round win over Sand Springs.
Matt Whatley, Claremore: Junior quarterback doesn't make many mistakes, and accounted for 141 total yards and three TDs in last week's win over Memorial.
