Stillwater-based Southwest Bancorp Inc. and its bank subsidiaries have announced a new chief financial officer and chairman of the board of directors.

The parent of Stillwater National Bank and Trust Co. and Bank of Kansas on Friday stated that Joe Shockley Jr. has been named CFO and Russell Teubner has been named chairman of the board of directors.

Shockley, who begins work on Dec. 1, is replacing Randy Waldrup who served as interim CFO. Teubner will assume his role as chairman on Jan. 1, 2013, replacing Robert Rodgers, who has served in that position for 13 years.

Shockley previously served as executive vice president and CFO at BancFirst Corp., which he joined in 1996. Prior to that, he served as Tulsa region president and CFO for Boatmen’s First National Bank of Oklahoma and held several past positions.

Teubner currently is a director of Southwest Bancorp and its subsidiary Stillwater National Bank and serves as the chairman of the Governance Committee and a member of the Audit and Compensation Committees.

Teubner is the founder and CEO of HostBridge Technology LLC, a computer software company.

Previously, he was the founder and CEO of Teubner & Associates Inc.
