Tulsa's forecast calls for mostly sunny skies, but talk will be of tornadoes at a certain Midtown bookstore.
Severe weather expert Greg Johnson, who is a tornado hunter and storm photographer, will make an appearance from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday at Steve's Sundry Books and Magazines, 2612 S. Harvard Ave.
Johnson, who will be there with 11-year-old daughter Olivia, will be signing copies of his book, "Blown Away - A Year Through the Lens of a Tornado Hunter" ($29.95, Indie Ink). This page-turner for weather-philes offers harrowing stories and Johnson's amazing photos from last year's record-breaking storm season throughout Tornado Alley.
Working with a dedicated group of chasers, Johnson photographed dozens of storms, driving inside active tornadoes in a specially outfitted truck called the Dominator.
