This is a formal complaint against the city of Tulsa, which forced upon the disabled in Tulsa a mandatory plan for trash pickup that includes use of two containers.
The city has failed to require new solutions to provide the disabled citizens of Tulsa the services represented. This requires these disabled individuals to place these carts at the required location for pickup when despite numerous calls to the city and the contractor no pickups are made on the designated day or after calls are made to the city and contractor.
It appears the city charges for services that it does not intend to provide to these disabled citizens. This in and of itself is a criminal act that also violates the Americans With Disabilities Act and other acts designed to protect those who are disabled or handicapped.
The mayor and the senior staff are responsible for the disregard of laws designed to protect these disabled individuals in their required and mandatory dealings with the city.
Please provide a response and a resolution to this problem.
