Women's basketball notes: Arkansas at ORU

Notes: The Oral Roberts women's team will play its biggest non-conference home game of the season when Arkansas pays a 7 p.m. Monday visit to the Mabee Center.
ORU is playing seven games against teams which reached the NCAA Tournament last season. This is the first of those games and it is one of two home games against 2012 NCAA Tournament qualifiers. The other will be Jan. 26 against McNeese State.
Arkansas went 24-9 and reached the second round of the NCAA Tournament last season. The Razorbacks are 2-0 this season and will make their second trip to Tulsa in five days. They won an overtime game against the University of Tulsa last week. Overtime was forced when Kelsey Hatcher, a former Oklahoma State guard who transferred to Arkansas after a stint at SMU, hit a 3-pointer with 13 seconds left in regulation.
Oral Roberts last hosted Arkansas on March 23, 2011, when the Razorbacks secured a 78-59 decision in a third-round WNIT game. The Golden Eagles have not hosted an SEC team in a regular-season game since a 64-60 loss to 10th-ranked Georgia on Dec. 14, 1997.
ORU is 8-16 against Arkansas and has lost 11 consecutive games in the series since a 77-66 win on Jan. 2, 1988. The last meeting came in December of 2011, when Kevi Luper was limited to 11 points and the Golden Eagles shot only 23.9 percent from the field in a 65-37 loss.
