70s, rain chances forecast this week in Tulsa area

Tulsa's temperatures are forecast to hit the 70s for most of the rest of this week, but don't expect those highs to hang around for the weekend.
The National Weather Service forecasts highs in the low to mid-70s through Friday, when highs in the mid-50s are forecast. Tulsa's highs are expected to rise to the low 60s by Sunday.
Overnight lows in the low 40s are expected tonight in Tulsa, with lows rising to the 50s Wednesday night. Lows in the 40s are forecast once again on Thursday night, with lows sinking to the low 30s on Friday night, according to the weather service.
Tulsa's highest temperature this month was 88 degrees on Nov. 2. The lowest temperature was 26 degrees on Nov. 12. Tulsa's last day with freezing temperatures was Saturday, with a low of 32 degrees, according to the weather service.
Tulsa also has 30 to 40 percent chances of showers Thursday on Thanksgiving. However, new rainfall amounts of less than 0.1 of an inch are expected without a thunderstorm, the weather service forecasts.
Tulsa has received 0.83 of an inch of rain so far this month, which is more than an inch below normal rainfall for this time of November. This includes 0.02 of an inch recorded on Monday.
