Rose Marie Butler, 93 of Edmond, Oklahoma was born June 18, 1919 in Stilwell, Oklahoma to Denton and Elizabeth (Thomas) Walker. Rose grew up in Tulsa, Oklahoma and graduated from Clinton High School. She was a day care worker and loved taking care of children. She was a charter member of the Britton Assembly of God Church. Rose passed away on November 18, 2012 in Edmond. Her survivors include, Her son, John Butler of Edmond and her daughter, Patricia Ann Getz of Las Vegas. 4 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren and 2 greatgreat-grandchildren. Graveside services are scheduled for 1:00 p.m. Wednesday Nov. 21, 2012 at Memorial Park Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Matthews Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Edmond, OK.
