Police are looking for a vehicle carjacked from a woman exiting a Walmart parking lot Tuesday afternoon.
The man implied he had a gun and the woman fled unharmed before he sped off, police said.
The woman was waiting to turn onto Admiral Place from the parking lot of the Walmart at 207 S. Memorial Ave. shortly before 3 p.m. when a man approached the passenger side of her vehicle and got in, police said.
The man tugged at his waistband as if he had a gun and told the woman to drive, police said. She instead grabbed her purse and fled from the vehicle, police said. The victim told police she didn’t see a gun.
He then got into the driver’s seat and sped away east on Admiral Place, police said.
The vehicle is described as a silver 2005 Ford Escape with an Oklahoma license plate of 771-GGA.
The man is described as black, about 6 feet tall and skinny, last seen wearing a blue, sleeveless shirt, black hat and carrying a black backpack.
