The state Department of Agriculture reported the following closing prices Tuesday:

U.S. No 1 HARD RED WINTER WHEAT: .01 to .02 higher. 7.92-8.53.

Davis 7.92, Shattuck 8.11, Lawton 8.12, Frederick 8.13, Manchester, Temple 8.22, Perry, Stillwater 8.23, Alva, Buffalo, Cherokee, Medford, Ponca City 8.26, Banner, El Reno, Keyes 8.32, Clinton, Hobart, Okeene 8.33, Hooker 8.35, Eldorado 8.37, Geary, Okarche, Watonga 8.52, Weatherford 8.53, Gulf 9.27 1/2.

MILO: .06 to .08 higher. 11.92-12.98.

Alva, Buffalo, Ponca City, Weatherford 11.92, Manchester 11.93, Medford 12.08, Shattuck 12.10, Keyes 12.91, Hooker 12.98.

CORN: .03 to .04 higher. 6.98-7.83.

CANOLA (CWT): N/A: Blackwell, Dacoma, Apache, Hillsdale, Clyde, Enid, El Reno, Yukon.

Grade 41, Leaf 4, Staple 34 Cotton in southwestern Oklahoma averaged 66.25 cents per pound.

EGGS: Large 1.51; medium 1.21; small 1.01.

Oklahoma livestock

The state Department of Agriculture reported the following prices Tuesday at the Oklahoma City Stockyards:

Receipts: 5,224; week ago: 7,478; year ago: 4,871.

Compared to last week: Feeder cattle and calves lightly tested but few sales steady. Early demand very good for long weaned calves and limited numbers of feeder cattle; moderate for others. Weather remains windy and dry with wheat pasture starting to suffer from the lack of moisture. Supply included 50 percent over 600 lbs; 42 percent heifers.
