Phyllis Chaney, in her Nov. 15 letter ("Very proud"), was really proud that Americans "stood up and proved that money and lies (of Mitt Romney) could not win the presidency ..."
According to the New York Times, the Mitt Romney campaign raised $882 million and spent $752 million on the campaign. The Barack Obama campaign raised $934 million and spent $853 million. Hmmmm, I wonder who the bigger spender was (by 13 percent)? According to Politifacts, Obama told half-truths or lied 55 percent of the time. Nope, no money or lies here.
