We have just been notified by Oklahoma Natural Gas that it intends to move the gas meters from the back of the yards of Tulsa residents to within inches of the houses. Gas meters were placed at the back of yards because they have a tendency to leak gas and cause fires.
I'm a former firefighter and am alarmed by the fire hazard that moving a meter within inches of my house will create.
