Two of Oklahoma State's bye weeks next season fall before Big 12 play and before Bedlam.

The schedule, released by the Big 12 on Tuesday, features another bye midway through the season. All league teams will have three open dates because the conference doesn't have a championship game.

The Cowboys open the season with two games outside Stillwater for the first time in 15 years - Aug. 31 in Houston against Mississippi State and Sept. 7 at UTSA - before returning home against Lamar.

The conference slate begins two weeks later when OSU plays at West Virginia for the first time since 1928. The first home Big 12 game is Kansas State on Oct. 5, followed by an open date.

TCU visits for a second straight season in a homecoming game, and then the Cowboys have road trips at Iowa State and Texas Tech before concluding the season with three of their final four games at Boone Pickens Stadium, including the season finale against Oklahoma on Dec. 7.
