The University of Tulsa has signed 6-foot-5 shooting guard Stevie Repichowski to a national letter of intent.
Golden Hurricane coach Danny Manning confirmed the signing on Wednesday -- the final day of the early signing period for the Division I basketball.
A native of Lansing, Mich., Repichowski currently attends Kingdom Prep Academy in Johnston, Iowa.
"Stevie is a talented wing with good size," Manning said. "He has sneaky athleticism and is a very good shooter. Coach (Joel) Hannagan’s teams at Kingdom Prep are well-coached, they play the game the right way, and they are very team-oriented.
Stevie is a good young man, and he will be a very good addition to our program."
At Catholic High School in Lansing, Repichowski averaged 18 points per game and was a Michigan Class B All-State selection.
On Tuesday, TU signed Lew Evans, a 6-foot-10, 225-pound junior-college forward from Casper (Wyo.) College. A Salt Lake City native, Evans averaged 15 points and nine rebounds while leading his Highland High School team to the Utah Class 4A title.
Repichowski will have four seasons of eligibility at TU. Evans will have three.
